Underboob Bikinis With A Little Sexy Flair! The Hottest Swimsuit Trends You Should Try This Season
Underboobs are all the rage on our iPhones and TV screens in a society increasingly dominated by loungewear, bralessness, and soft slacks. Summer fashion is all about the underboob, as seen on the runways at Jacquemus and worn by several of fashion’s It ladies. But the question is, will it stay? We will analyze the underboob and the style and then review some underboob bikinis.
The Trend of Underboob Bikinis
The trend “underboob” fad is ascribed to swimwear, with bikinis first appearing in 2018 that were purposefully meant to show off a woman’s breasts’ underlining. The Italian influencer Valentina Fradegrada popularized the upside-down bikini the same year it was dubbed the “worst thing on Instagram.” Despite the fact that most of us were remaining indoors due to the coronavirus outbreak, it began to enter clothing stores in 2020, with gowns featuring eye-popping cutouts that left nothing to the imagination. It was also seen on many runways that had all of us in awe.

Kylie Jenner and the Underboob Bikinis
Kylie Jenner and her K-clique cousins appear to be responsible for reviving the sultry swimsuit trend that sees her and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner exposing more breasts. Kylie Jenner, 23, made headlines when she showed off her incredible underboob in an electric blue upside-down bikini top on Instagram.
The 23-year-old shared the photo on Instagram, where she was seen turning heads in a stunning barely-there bikini. “SPF body oil,” she captioned it before marketing her own skincare goods. Kylie also used Instagram Stories to show off her swimsuit again with the body oil product. People reacted positively to the photo in the comments section, with one commenter asking, “Can my body be gorgeous like yours?” Kylie, you slippery minx!
So,“Underboob Bikinis”,What is it?
The definition of underboob, according to the Urban Dictionary (always a credible source), is “cleavage visible from the section of the shirt that covers the bottom of the female breasts.” The Kardashians are leading the way in what some are dubbing “the new cleavage.”
A lady questions about underboob deodorant in a 1999 Usenet post: it can get a little hot down there. The phrase may have been inspired by a neighboring side boob, first reported in 1997.
In March 2015, the Thai government issued a warning against women taking “underboob selfies,” which it said was damaging to society. Society was divided. A social media challenge known as the underboob challenge swept across Japan and China in early 2016. Originally intended to highlight a woman’s breast size by having her hold a pen or pencil in her underboob, female and male participants make light of the challenge by adding hilarious, body-positive twists.
In 2017, the underboob, like its adjacent side boob before it, became a fashion statement, with designers and fast fashion designing women’s tops to highlight that portion of the body. Celebrities such as Gigi and Bella Hadid, Lady Gaga, and Ariel Winter all wore underboob-baring dresses, and major magazines such as USA Today covered the trend. During this period, there was also a surge in interest in underboob tattoos, or tattoos in this area.
Cost of Underboob Bikinis
Look no further if you’re looking to purchase an underboob bikini this summer. This very high-trending suit is at almost every store online. It can be found on Shein, Amazon, Aliexpress, and even your local Walmart!
The price of this piece has many factors, like the material and the quality of the suit. But, in general, it will cost anywhere from $10 to even $80 plus tax and shipping.
It also can be made of many different materials, like spandex, nylon, or chinlon. There are also many, many, many colors and patterns to choose from, so it might get a little overwhelming! Stay tuned as we go over some product reviews.
Ethics
Technically, it’s “indecent exposure,” and most jurisdictions consider it a felony. Underboob looks, on the other hand, are entirely legal and leave just enough to pique the imagination.
So, it really depends on the wearer. If they are comfortable showing that much skin, and as long as there is just enough coverage for it to be legal, then by all means.
Most, however, may not be comfortable with this. Not everyone has the perfect, gravity-defying breasts like models do. The majority of women have saggy breasts, with one being slightly larger than the other. Some are bigger, smaller, flat, pointy, and would definitely not look good in the underboob bikini. Some say this is just a fad, and it will be over before you know it.
Cleavage vs. Underboob
Cleavage refers to the area between a woman’s breasts, particularly the upper section, which is seen when she wears an article of low-necked clothing. Basically, the line in the middle of the chest breasts makes when they are pushed together. The cleavage is well known and the most popular around the world. Cleavage was a massive concern in the 1950s when the so-called “hourglass” profile was fashionable, and a supportive push-up bra helped it. Corsets were also beneficial.
The underboob refers to the bottom portion of a woman’s breasts being exposed while the rest of the breast is covered. The “under curve of the breasts,” as described by the tired CBS censors at this year’s Grammys, “underboob” is only the bottom half of the boob, with a little higher piece exposed and no midsection. It’s referred to as “bottom cleavage” by some.
A new “glamour business creation, anxious for new patches of skin for women to show and delight naïve males.” Crop-tops came in handy. When Beyoncé wore it on the cover of GQ, we should’ve known it’d be the hottest thing in town.

Conclusion
The underboob trend has thrown us for a loop in recent years. Starting back in 2018 by Valentina Fradegrada, an Italian influencer, the movement is now back. It made its way back into our shopping bags when it aired on Too Hot To Handle, and of course, the Kardashians jumped on the bandwagon.
This trend is seen on runways with the hottest fashion trends. But we wonder if the movement is really ethical? Legally, it is. However, areas have been trying to get it banned for indecent exposure. Not a lot of women have the perfect breasts that defy gravity. Some may be showing too much skin, especially if they’re wearing the thong bikini bottoms.
Taking a look at four bikinis, they seem reasonably priced. They may not last, however. For now, the trend seems to be staying, and we are loving it!
